I use the Cutter and Off spray for my yard as mentioned above. I don't have a problem w/skeeters bothering me, once in a blue moon I get a skeeter bite. However, my wife can take two steps outside and have 5 bites. A friend of hers gave her some essential oil stuff to put on her ankles an wrists. I laughed and called it witch craft, snake oil. I told her that [censored] doesn't work. She puts that on and no bites, none flying around her, none landing on her. I gave in at put some on at a game, the skeeters were bad that night. I had to eat my words! It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. doTerra makes it, its called terrashield. It doesn't have a smell either.

Buy some citronella plants....when they get big you can rub the leaves on you for some good repellent...I bought my plants at Lowe's.
