Is it just me or does it seem like every weekend lately the weather has been something to effect your tournament or weekend bass fishing trip? Only to be followed by a gorgeous Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am talking weather that makes you have to change an entire game plan for fishing because it's ridiculously windy or another cold front comes in to reac havoc on the fish. Felt like needing to vent with you boys because today is perfect out and now we gotta work. Bunch of bologna! Anyone else feel this way?

Yep. Seems like it happens every year.

Yep. Absolutely loving it. That's why I take my 'weekend' during the week. Wednesday and Thursday are my favorite days to fish. Less traffic and the fish have partially recovered from the weekend pressure.

if you don't have the luxury of picking the days you fish, you gotta be flexible and adaptable in the spring in Tx for sure.

I thought the pattern was going to shift to a Wednesday-Thursday based on winter and early spring. Guess we weren't that lucky!

It's part of living in this area for sure! That's why I love fishing though, it's rarely ever easy. I love the challenges our spring weather presents around here. Evens the playing field in tournaments, that's for sure. Luckily, I work in an industry that allows me to make my own schedule. I get to fish once or twice a week outside of the weekend most weeks. This week? Not so much, but busy is a good thing!

200 boats running down the lake is worse than a cold front. Even if the weather was bad on Wed. and Thurs., I would still choose those days.

I HATE WIND MY AREA IS PLAGUED BY HIGH WINDS, but don't worry this is always the trend during spring then the good scolding summer comes in and we are graced with no wind.
