Please let me know what brand, color and size you prefer for sand bass? Thanks.

I find it hard to beat an Ol Ugly Chart from sandjohnny. The flutter spoon from Nekid Tackle is very good as well.

The original TNT 180 are the best I have ever used. For the last 8 years, it is the only jigging slab I have used freshwater and salt. The company sold, but now Bryon Nolan is producing them again as Redneck Fish'n. The lures are called 180 and are 2 ounce. My favorite colors are the Chartreuse/White and the Silver Holographic.
Demand is so high that he frequently runs out keeping up with demand. I keep 200 on hand at all times.

White, doesn't matter the brand. True statement. I once had a customer call when I was out with a party whacking em. He was coming up in the next couple of days and he asked what color they were hitting best. We had had been really whacking them for the last couple of days and I had not changed my slab or bite tippet(30# fluorocarbon). I looked at my slab and thought it over. It had run out of paint from striped and white bass grinding it. So I told him "lead color", as it was catching right along side the white we usually start with. Free fall action without interference triggers most strikes, not color. A couple of different times of the year a glint of chrome, or a little contrasting color will make a difference. It is usually white though. The best slab I have ever used is the Acrobat, made by Donald Hornick, not sure if he is a member here or not. He goes by WhiteBassFisher on some boards. And he fishes Lake Livingston.

RSR 1.3 oz shad slab in 50/50 Gold and silver. I rarely go fishing without one of these tied on.

Triton20x, if you want to pm me your contact information, I'll send you a sample of our top sellers and what I use to put my clients on fish. We are by no means the cheapest tackle provider, but we do offer the highest quality available on the market.
