Hey Guys,

I am fishing a small church tournament (Merten's Baptist) on Saturday April 28th on Navarro Mills. Have never even been to the lake.
Can any one make some suggestions?

Whole thing is more fellowship than tournament but friend who has asked me to come is not a fisherman. Hoping to show him a good time and catch some fish.

Think the categories are:
1. Most fish caught
2. Biggest fish

Think this includes what ever?

TPW sight says Excellent crappie lake / not so good for bass / ok for white bass / perch poor.

I ma mostly a crappie and white bass fisherman.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sure would like to put my friend new to fishing on some fish. Hoping to pre-fish this coming week sometime. A RIDE-ALONGER WOULD BE A BIG PLUS FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE LAKE.

Thanks in advance.

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

Thanks guys. Were you guys slabbing the whites? Color matter. RCR best color is always chartreuse.

Thanks again.
