87 teams competed in the Crappie Masters National Tournament Trail "One Pole Ultimate Challenge" tourney on Lake Fork today. Very windy!! ... and here are the results. A Missouri team won again (embarrassing on our home lake) ... but Wally and Jeff tied for weight but got second in the big fish tie breaker! ouch Great going to the top ten teams. It was VERY windy out there. WTG Wally, Jeff, Kirk (SheCrappieKilla), Anh (Anh won last year) and Jerry Hancock for top tens!! Check the list for other names you know.

Windy on Fork is scary! Congrats to the catchers.

Looks like Wally Marshall still has the touch!
Glad to see he could tie for 1st on Fork against some serious competition.

I had a blast and learned so much from all the anglers fishing this event. Hats off to the Crappie Masters organization. They put on a class act event. I even got lucky and caught my new personal best 2.66 during the event. The wind was tough but I would do it over and over again.

Had a great time and what a turnout! Always fun fishing against the best of the best. Can't wait for next year. I love that lake so much I am going to start running a few trips down there soon.

It was really tough out there with the 30 mph gusts. I want to send a special thanks to the guys that helped Jim and I to place in the top 10. First is Brad Williams, a Lake Fork guide (don't know his TFF name), who I called and talked to a few days prior to the event. He informed us to go to the Garrett creek area and fish the murky water. Perfect, that's all we fish here on Lake Houston (the mud hole). We caught many fish in the 2 lb. range prior to the tourney around the highlines. Unlike the crickets from all the jokesters here on the site (except for the 2 PMs), Brad was a stand up guy for even getting us close to the area. (sorry for beating you guys out by .09 lbs.) Also thanks to Olhipi for the use of his Lake Master chip and JW for his Lake Fork Hot Spots map (we never made it to the marked holes he had on it due to the scary wind). Brad's my choice for any guided trip to Lake Fork. BTW Brad, that 2.27 lb. fish came from the pier with the chimney sticking out the roof at 3:15. Thanks again guys!!!!

I had a blast fishing this. I learned so much from everyone. My hats off to the Crappie Masters staff for an awesome setup. I even caught my PB crappie at 2.66. 3rd biggest of the tourney. I'll be back next year...
