We have a new bowling alley that opened up a couple of months ago and a group of about 10 of us go a couple of times a week
Really considering going to get my own ball since house balls suck when throwing a curve

Used to bowl a lot in college but that was a while ago

Anyone else Bowl for fun or in a league?

I was in league years ago. Got pretty decent. Mainly Monday and Wednesday nights I got pretty drunk. Our team started off with a tray of shots lol.

Been out of leagues for about 3 years now. I loved it, but driving an hour to bowl 3 games and then driving the hour back home wasn't adding up to well. Highest average I ever carried through a fall league was 228. If I didn't live an hour from Abilene I would probably still bowl.

Stick with fishing.

You will have to buy 2 custom fitted balls, one for your first throw and one for picking up spares, and then custom shoes and wristband.

Then you would probably bowl a few leagues, it would probably put a kink in your bass fishing.

For fun with the kiddos
In my prime, I'd scare 200 regularly

I worked @ Golden Triangle Bowl in Irving back in the day.

Twice a week th se days. Finally bowling over 200 on occasion. 168 average but climbing. There are kids who bowl much better than I do, but it's still fun.

I am by far the worst bowler on the TFF. I would be surprised if my avg was over 100. I should use those gutter bumpers things.

Isn't that just about what all college bowl games are these days, "The Anyone Bowls"?

My parents bowled in leagues there for years so I spent a lot of time there as well. I only bowled in a couple of rec leagues in my 20's (many, many years ago, lol), always had fun. I was a generic 175 average guy. Haven't been in 2 years.
