Hello everybody, I'm a huge fan of crappie fishing and love to fish some smaller lakes in my area. I currently fish out of an old water wagon. My question for you guys is how you would mount a transducer on these suckers. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated! Thanks!

Do you have a motor mounted on it, or a trolling motor?

Yes, Brazos is my real name.

Yes, it does have a small outboard on it. I currently have it mounted on the front bar but run into the problem of kicking it. I wanted to mount it on the bottom of the transom but worry it'll unfold or ruin it during transport. Thoughts?

I mounted mine to the transom, witch I made out of some aluminum plate. I ran a 332c on mine.

Yes, the transom is made out of 1/4" aluminum. Have you had any issues with it folding while moving at fairly high speeds (water wagon speeds of course (less than 10 mph). I currently have a smaller unit, the elite 3x but the transducer is awfully similar to the 332c.

I have never had a issue with it folding back unless I hit a stump. My wagon has a 2 horse motor and runs 4.5 mph.
