So, my wife is out of town for 10 days... which gave me the green light to start figuring out this whole "hand tied jig" thing. Here are my first 2 from last night, need feedback!

What needs to be improved, added or taken out?

One thing I do with making jig skirts, is always make two of the same pattern. If you lose one you will want to duplicate it later and have something to go by.

I could use several of the bottom color... if you could take out the red and add like a candy purple..

What does wedge cut the skirt mean? How do y'all like your jigs to look after trimming? I barely trim mine because if I do the top half puffs out nearly perpendicular to the jig. Should I be trimming more?

Nice looking jigs. All I would do is cut the weedguard on an angle and go fishing. The fish will tell you if they like it or not. You definitely have some winners.
