Anyone been lately? Just wondering if it's worth fishing at all right now? Thinking about going tomorrow morning and haven't been since last summer. Thanks.

Not many bites for me lately but the ones that bit have been grownups. I've caught them from 4' to about 18'. The bite is light. I would go tomorrow except the wind will be brutal and every place I've caught fish will be in it.

Once you get your reports all in and decide to go; give me a shout. I have mapped the lake for customers and have a couple of extra spots to share that may produce.

Thanks,
Donald

It's been really tough. I usually go at least once a week during the week and it has been tough. The water is dirty and pretty cold. Main lake water temp was around 53, south of the bridges I found some 56 degrees but it is real dirty. That was on Tuesday.

Mr Harper if you have a few areas you want me to try just shoot me a PM, like I say I usually go weekly and would be interested to test some of your theories /advice.

This one is a NO Brainer from now until the spawn is over Slade. I always check the DAM first for exceptional contours on each end and anything that sticks out in the middle. Big fish love the dam for the spawn.
1-13 on the Map:
Next fish every cove that runs West with the Dog Leg coves being the best as they will hold in the warmer water. North winds have trouble moving it out and the SE. wind keeps it in there on a consistent basis. Fish as far back as you can go. Fish every little protrusion sticking out off the bank if it has hardwoods. Target the larger hardwoods for larger Bass.

14 - 17 on the Map:
Next is the North coves and again a dog leg is much better where it may turn directly EAST. Fish the North Shoreline unless the wind is out of the North then the warmer water will be on the South bank of the coves.
