Here is a pattern that seems to be working well the Season for stocker trout in a couple of ponds in the North Texas area - Allen and Denison. May be of interest to others when the trout are feeding near the surface on "something" that is hatching.... PMC Emerger.

Fished the local pond yesterday to break the work week blues. PMC Emerger worked on the little Bluegill. Weekend is here though, gonna wet a line somewhere this weekend! Post.

Side tracked with the warmer weather and kayak fishing the local lake. Did get a quick trip in at the local pond, caught nice Shellcracker on a PMC Emerger!

Fun time fishing the 4wt Redington Pursuit Fly Rod. Not used it for some time. Dusted it off along with the Ross Flystart 2 Reel that we picked up from Amazon several years ago. Reel came with backing and a Weight Forward 4wt line.
