Not every planer board will work for catfishing. Water Bugz are too small and won't pull. Cabelas boards are total junk and a waste of money. I've used just about everything out there in recent years and Castaway are the best I've used and some of the least expensive. They're not perfect but better than anything else I've tried other than the ones I've built myself.

That's my two cents.

And no offense on the Cabelas boards but leave em in the package and send em back! I learned the hard way and have wasted a lot of money in recent years.

I've been using boards from Extreme Fishing Concepts and they work for me. Stepped on one and broke the rod off and he is sending me another rod for free. Good product, low price, fast shipping and good customer service. If I need more I'll use them again.
