Could someone with experience troubleshooting Mariner motors message me? I cant figure out why I cant get power, my mechanics says it's bad gas but I drained and replaced it even changed the spark plugs and I'm still having power issues.

First thing to do is check compression, then check each sparkplug for fire.

V-Bottom might need to wait and see what kind of fuel system he has.

when the high pressure pump was replaced did you change out the rubber gasket on the top of the pump ? That gasket can cause a drop in fuel prssure.

Depending on year model could be ignition problem. If it is the ADI ignition witch has switch boxes could be a switch box, stator or trigger assembly......OPTI

If you haven't done it yet, put in a low pressure fuel pump kit. About $20. Takes about 20 minutes or less to do. The diaphragm gets baggy and won't keep up with demand at higher rpm.
