I was over there a few weeks ago. Launch up the river at the camp ground. There was a major shad migration going on when I was there in the river. You don't have to go far to catch them.I spent most of time North in the no wake area and caught tons of fish in the flooded brush areas.white swim jig , top water, and fluke style bait.

that is no joke either... we hunted way up the river before we found the ramp in WW... our buddy is a sheriff's deputy and lives on the lake, we launched at the park instead of his ramp below his house... I've never been so nervous in my life coming back trying to get to the ramp. I've got a 20 foot gator trax with a pretty stout motor that'll run 28 loaded down... damn that was rough.

I fished BP Saturday and Sunday. Water was pretty muddy in places, and just an off colored green in others. I stayed up in the river, never went to the main lake. Had 13 Saturday with the biggest at 3.5lbs. All came on a buzzbait or spinnerbait. Yesterday, only had one on a spinnerbait. I couldn't figure them out. Ha.
