must be up lake somewhere. Fished Friday with a friend and caught about a dozen LM Bass. No sandies or stripers.

My last couple trips up there have been a bust.
Haven't been since all the boat traffic ( school start up ) died down.

I went yesterday. Didn't catch shad as they are deep and I can't catch them unless I can see them. I used bomber lures,jigs and wildeyes. Caught lots of 8-14 inch LM bass, a keeper sand bass and a few throw back stripers.

If they open flood gates again next year I'll just move my boat to fork.

That would be one less person to enjoy the awesome striper fishery on PK.

Ran a 18 group trip last sat pm and sun am. Didn't catch any "wall hangers" plenty of magnum sandies. Several short stripes. Few keeper stripes. Biggest was just under 7 lbs. fish are in small schools from Broadway to Costello. Bait is fairly easy in mid lake coves 15/25 foot of water. But, most everything boated both days came on slab/fly combo.

Well, I don't know what kind of shape the lake is in now, I haven't fished it since July, but my kid and I will be giving it a he77 of an effort this Saturday and/or Sunday! Its been over a month since we have been anywhere fishing and its long overdue.

Dugan is 100% correct on the artificial bite. Stopped live bait fishing in July. Big fish still moving fast in small groups. Lots 5 to 7 lbers and a ton under stripers. Dam area hasn't been good for me in months, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Sandies are moving as well, but when u find then It's On!

Sounds decent for a lake with no stripers in it.

There are stipers Captaincam but fewer than before the flood. Based on Kerry Dugans report they are more up lake.

Tawakoni and Texoma are on fire. Fish are beginning to stack up in all the usual places. Slabs with flies tied above are stellar.
