Yes. I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu. Stayed in Cuzco before and after the hike. Cuzco is a decent city. Nice people, walkable, good food. Touristy, though. We felt safe there, even at night.

I never left Lima's airport, but I hear it's a rough city.
