Fishing lately has began to really pick up. My long time clients the Hendleys came for a morning of snatching crappie and they smoked em! All fish were caught on jigs from thermocline lures. Color wasn't all that important as was the presentation.

We are fishing brush piles in 14 to 20 foot of water. If we are in 20 foot we are still only fishing 14 feet down. Some days you have to come up as shallow as 8 feet. Work your jig are various depths to find that sweet spot. Once you find it, clip your line to the reel and start having a blast!!

When fishing these piles, back off the pile and pitch the jig over the brush and count down various depths and use a slow retrieval and the fish are crushing the jig

I have some dates open in September if you want to get in on these Lake Fork Slabs!!

Thanks folks!
