Just finished up the yard. With the heat its kinda slowed down but the rain on Sunday made it grow just enough to have to mow again. I am probably in the minority but I truly enjoy mowing. I have 2 acres and i just get on the mower, throw on some tunes and zone out. Kinda relaxing.

Mowed yesterday around 6:30pm. It was still hotter than Hades. Didn't bother weed eating or edging. Thank God I have a pool to jump in after mowing.

I approve of this message.

I try to do as much as I can in the heat as it helps acclimate me better for fires etc at work. Good hydration and pacing yourself makes it a lot easier.

mowing is therapy.

Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

Same here I have never shied away from the heat I will do all the yard work as long as I am physically able and I turned 60 this year. I believe my Grandfather was still doing his in his 80's.

There was a good half hour before the rain came in on my house. That was on Saturday and I jumped at the chance of mowing in 20 degree cooler weather before the rain came. I finished about 80% of the lawn on Saturday and cleaned up the last 20 on Sunday. Lightning was getting close so I didn't finish eeks

I'd rather go running or biking at 5PM then mow. Even though I can do front and back yard in 45 mins. smile

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

I mow out of spite, usually the hottest day of the week, everyone on the block pays someone to do it, can't bring myself to pay someone, Dad worked 6 days a week all his life, and did the yard too. Therapeutic for me as well.

I will be back. I'm never truly gone.....Last post by Brad RIP

I enjoy it myself. My wife gets on to me for not making our son mow, but she just doesn't get the fact that I enjoy it and want to do it.

Doesn't matter what the temp is for me. I load up my 6 pack cooler and hop on the zero turn. Relaxing for me

I like both. I like the heat. So that's when I work. I worked in it all day yesterday.

Mowing while sitting on a riding mower is hardly work, but relaxing, yes.

Next time get after it with a push-behind Toro! flame
