I've always enjoyed Joe T's and can promise you there's not a slappie in this forum that will change my mind. The same people call Red Lobster seafood.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right

I've ate at Joe T's twice and the last time we did, I swore to myself I would never go back. The quality was comparable to an award winning moist dog food. I did like the Rita's, though....

Too blessed to be stressed!!

I've never been to Red Lobster. It kinda freaks me out that a place this far from the ocean serves ocean food. There are fresh seafood markets in the area now, so I'll eat at locally owned places, but I'm not eating at Red Lobster. That stuff may be older than me.

Why would distance from the ocean matter?

because by the time they load the seafood up on donkeys and make the trek north the fish would be old. Some time in the future they will have better means of getting seafood 500 miles with in 24 hrs.

Freshness matters. Just one of my things. I need to believe that seafood was caught during my lifetime. I don't think Red Lobster gives me much hope that is the case.

Nonsense. I guess no one should eat lobster, halibut, salmon, crab, etc. if you live in Texas.

I don't drink so I guess I missed the good part of Joe T's cause the food sucked. Tried to like it but just couldn't do it. It reminds me of Angelo's Bar B Q everybody loves it but when you eat there you find the food is terrible, overpriced and if you don't drink you missed the best part.
Is the El Rancho Grande Mexican restaurant that was on North Main close to Joe T's still there/open?
It used to be the best Mexican food on the North Side.
