Are you still roping?

At least 3 nights/week.

When you miss a throw, does your horse let you know how disappointed it is? I know of certain dogs that will give you the stink eye when you miss a bird.

roflmao I love it when the dogs do that! Or when they watch the sky and wait for you to shoot but you never do and they get all mad. Great dogs!!

No, the horses don't really care if you catch or not. I've seen some really experienced horses get fussy if you miss, but they're few and very far between. My two are still in training so they don't really know their job yet.

It's been really fun though. Bought my good horse when he was 2. He wasn't broke and didn't know anything. It's a real feeling of accomplishment to run out there and rope one on him now...to go out and actually use him for a job. Imagine it's like raising a kid and them finally getting a job and moving out.

You can max out the status at 360 minutes. That's 6 hours of screw off time!

You can go to Outlook and make up a fake meeting. Then your IM deal will show you as red or "in meeting". Trust me...it works!

When you are in a "meeting" is it with your co worker you met on the dating app?

I wish...if I didn't have any standards this could happen.

My college roommate had "Heeler Thumb". It was the blood infection afterwards that nearly killed him.

change your desktop settings to not let your machine go sleep and it should remain active as long as you stay logged into outlook and lync

I wouldn't say that I mailed it in today, but I was having lunch beers by 11:30, then went and got a haircut. I think I'm gonna walk down to the creek, sit in it, and drink more beers

A good friend of mine had his thumb yanked off while we were roping about 10 years ago.
Got it hung up as he dalllied his rope.
He had a glove on and said I dislocated my thumb. Took his glove off and the thumb stayed in it!
Passed smooth out. Believe it or not the docs put it back on and he now has about 80% use of it.
