I went sat 6/26 and found some under a single Bois d`arc tree suspended 8 ft in 11fow.There were no monsters but some nice 11`s & 12`s mixed in with about 40 non legals,a few white bass and one whisker fish.The Texas Toast & Pearl truse Slab Bandits were the popular plastics with a pink 1/16 oz on the TT & a 1/16oz white Rock dancer from bone Head tackle on the Pearl Truse. I caught over 40 all total but only took home a few.Good day to be on old Waxahachie

Excellent. caught crappie from that lake ever since i was a kid. my gparents had a lake house there

I like fishing there and is my main lake to fish. Yes this time of year the jet fleas and recreation folks make it tough for me in my 2 man. Early mornings and late evenings are for sure the time to go so you don't get buzzed the whole time. Good fish, I haven't been much this year but when I have been I have been struggling to find any keepers.
