Taking a family trip in a few weeks. Can anyone give advice about the lake, is it safe to run, fishing experience, dining experience/advise.

Thank you in advance!

The main lake you should be fine to run in. Some of the main lake points get shallow up close. In general
It is a deep water lake. Some of the coves have trees and stumps back in the backs of them. Good eats depends
On what side of the lake you will be. North or south side. Hope this helps.
