The lake came up over a foot this week and is EXTREMELY muddy. Not saying you can't catch a few, but it's going to take work.

Thanks for the report Luke. I'll return the favor next time I'm out there.
I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

Went after work Sunday, caught two small male crappie. Water is pretty murky. This was at the marina. Both caught on a 1/16 Roadrunner, pink/white.
I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

Pulled 50-60 yesterday afternoon in some very shallow cover under a bobber. By very shallow I mean fishing 12" under the float in 18" of water. Out of those 50-60, we had roughly 20 keepers, but only put the knife to a dozen or so that didn't need to be measured. Released one female that measured out at 15.25", as she was full of eggs and had the kind of genetics that I want to see get passed on.
I was surprised by how shallow they were in the middle of the day, but we didn't stop moving until we got bit, and when we found them, they were shallow.
