It's a big bass bash so they allow 3 people.. boat in question is a Ranger z118. 3 adults. I've had 3 people on my 20' skeeter before but a little worried about front deck space on the smaller Ranger. won't have a chance to try out the arrangement before the tourney.

I have had 3 during a tournament and it worked. It was crowded but it worked. My boat is 18'8

Just make sure everyone is aware of their casting angles!! Especially if using C-rigs or Bama rigs!! And I'd prob rotate boat positions thruout the day just so everyone gets a chance to fish "without impedance".

Fished 4 out of my 18'9 for WB in the Sabine years ago, was tough to get on plane but we filled both livewells, then it was REAL heavy!!! Nobody got a hat snatched or lure in the head, all throwing baitcasters too. We are fishing a BB on Lake Houston this weekend, which one are you? We just checked the river, going to be interesting, but when it rained in Mar and it was flooded we found some, took a while but we found a current break and got on some, wish we had found it earlier.

I haven't fished a tournament with three guys in an 18 foot boat, but we've done it fun fishing several times

Ive done it several times in my 18'2" boat. The one is back is no issue. The 2 in front have to pay attn. Ive been in the middle alot in my boat and let my buddy run the tm. He took my hat off with one cast and slapped me across the face with his lure another time.. soft plastics prefered for sure. Only tournament issue we had was once we all had fish in the livewells so we had to double up one livewell but i just tagged mine so no big deal..

It can be challenging but possible,

You just have to be mindful. I fish my family of 5 all the time, but leave treble hook baits Etc in the rod locker. There winds up being a lot of commotion but if you all talk about it before going out you should be fine. The cover photo on the TFF is me with 2 of my kids on the front of the boat.c my wife and one of my daughters were in the back. I generally stick to t-rigs, jigs and shaky heads when we all go out.
