We're building this for a member on another site this week. The smoke chamber is 26" OD 5/16" wall pipe and is 44" long. Firebox is 1/4" plate and measures 26"x20"x22" and will have some goodies on it. The pit is a reverse flow, but the bottom baffle will be removable to allow for a charcoal tray to also grill on. Heres a few pics of current progress, I'll update the thread every couple hours as we work on it! Pipe and 5x10 of 1/4" plate ready to cut. It was a bear to load that 500 lb plate onto the table with only two of us! Drew it up in CAD ready to cut: Here's a time lapse video of the machine cutting it out! http://youtu.be/n6GCPXZWDOkAll cleaned up ready to tack. Those are 5" 600 lb casters we're going to use on her!

Working on the firebox, takes some time to run 24' of weld on 1/4"! Brother is straightening up the pipe with the handheld plasma

Curious as to how much that will sell for.

Firebox is all welded up minus the doors and the angle iron for the grates Still have to touch up the plug holes on the tx but I'm done for the day

That looks awesome! About to start a smoker build. Will have to cut everything with a plasma though.

Looking good as always. I will try and call you today about the fence post. I should have a free evening this week to pick them up.

Welp we ran into a major issue this afternoon with the pit that ultimately was our fault but sure will [censored] you off after paying extra for a "straight cut". The guys that I bought the pipe from cut it for us, then we went off their "straight" cut to trim the other side ourselves. Got it all done and everything seemed level, well turns out both sides were both exactly parallel, but a little off. We got the pipe capped and started to mate it up to the firebox, and we had a 3/4" gap on the back side that we couldn't correctly fix without starting over. So, off to the yard to get another piece of pipe, and I picked one with the original mill edge on one side. Triple checked the square on it, then marked off 44" all the way around and plasma cut it out. New pipe The one being worked on is the straight one. The other ones crooked as hell but if you stick a level on the end it was perfect! Cut another cap for it and got her on. Tomorrow I'll get them mated up

Thanks Moto! Little tough manipulating that sucker today as a one man show but I made some progress. Firebox/smoke chamber mated up and clamped together Got it welded together all around and legs tacked up.
