What would you guys recommend on tying 80# to 100# mono on my penn 12/0 gonna be fishing surf for sharks any good ideas?

Depending on line thickness, adjust the amount of turns. I usually use five or six turns, but I'm on 50 to 80 lb. on the top side. The bigger stuff, like weadeater line, I use crimps. On the smaller stuff, 15 to 30, I always go six turns. Maybe five if the line is stiff. But never three. Three will pull out. Great knot and does away with swivels. https://youtu.be/6m4f4Qh4N6c
