Since fish kills has anyone gone for the bluegill? I remember catching them size of paper plates.

I have never fished Fairfield but for what I have read on past post in this section it was one heck of a Bluegill lake. I have also heard that it is making a slight comeback but I have not seen any reports.

Believe it or not, I actually tried yesterday. Went for a couple hours and didn't catch a single BG.
Before the fish kills and cast netters, we'd catch bunches of those dinner plate gills. hammer
I think the fish kill hurt, but I believe the cast netters have destroyed the spawning areas. They are out there every day, and they're all over the lake. Every inch of that 2-8' water has been drug and drug.
