So I added a nose cone a few years back and since its impossible for me to run it on the hose anymore and I know you shouldn't run them with the impellers dry I found and ordered this and was wondering if any of you had ever used or heard of this type of impeller?

With the nose cone I have the typical muff for a nose cone wont reach the holes, Ronnie has several and none work. They're too far back and on top so when I'm fishing they are less likely to get clogged with dirt or rocks. So my only options has been run it in a huge tub or dry so yeah I guess I'll get to be the guinea pig on this. It says it " self lubricating" so we'll see. I don't run it out of the water often any way. I'm either just checking something or I need to remind the neighbors that start up their motorcycles at 2 am that I can make noise too.
