Idk what the ratio would be, I go to Fork looking for big ones, I have yet to catch a 10# but I have a 9.7, 8.2, a handful of 7's, 6's and 5-4#'s. I may not catch many but I can usually catch a 5# depending on the time of year and what I'm best suited for. Other lakes may catch more but there is just something special about fork for me,like being a kid all over again.

If I was guessing I would say 5-1, and that means to me catching anything over 7#'s. A 7 pounder is a big fish IMO and I love having the opportunity

^^ That's the way I feel about Fork. I drive past Hubbard and Tawakoni to fish there. Fished it 13 times this year and zeroed 4 times. For me knowing the next cast could land a DD is enough to want to get back ASAP!

I'm pretty happy with slots on fork myself.

Good day being 10+ fish or at least one 6 lbs or more, I would say my ratio is 4-1 (bad-good). There are lots of bad days, but the good days are really, really good.

Been fishing Fork for 6 years about 10-12 times a year, and only had 4 or 5 of what I would call "great" days. Those are the ones you go to Fork for.

I'd rather fish Quitman or Winnsboro.

Mine is about 2-1. I only fish there a couple times a year but the last time landed me my personal best. 10.6 lbs. don't know how to add pic. I go with an expectation of fishing for one bite and I am rarely disappointed. Time before that caught a 6+. Time before that zero. Weekend before that caught 32 over 2.5 days with two 6+ and an 8.5. Still the best opportunity for a big one within 2 hours of home. Do better for numbers at other lakes but a 4 doesn't make your heart race like a 8+.

There's also something to be said about not dealing with wake boats in the summer. My ratio this year has been seasonal. August was bad, fall was good, winter was really bad, spring has been good again.

I cant really say what my ratio is, definitely have been more bad than good recently but the good days are EPIC on Fork and thats what keeps it on the hit list. Having said that, if Toledo Bend was the same distance to me as Fork is I'd never fish anywhere else.

I don't know my ratio, but let's just say "It ain't good...!!" :-)

I have had quite a few guide trips on Mother Fork (probably at least 10 or 12), plus been out there with a few folks who had open back seats and have yet to have a day that I thought was a good one. Especially disappointing with the guide trips, but I know that they can't make the fish bite either.

I guess the thrill of being on Fork keeps me to where I know I can catch the bass of a lifetime on any cast. That said, I'd still love to have one of the days that I hear people talk about, and/or finally land a GIANT!! My PB on Fork currently is 7 pounds. Long and skinny fish I caught in early December on a guide trip about 6 years ago on a miserably cold and rainy day.

I have two opportunities on Fork in April, one a work related tournament, and the other my club I belong to is having their April tourney there the following weekend. Maybe the magic will happen during one of these!!

If i only go in the summer on fork it is probably 3-1, the rest of the year is more like 7-1, 5 fish in the 4-5lb range is considered a good day for me. Clearly below fork expectations though

I have more bad days than good from 0 to 15 fish. Would be hard to rate but would be high. Just knowing that the next bit could be the one keeps me going back.

Yes sir, tail was worn, she was beat up a little on the sides and has definitely been caught a few times recently.
