Probably my favorite tournament trail. It's a complete different game versus team tournaments. You also better be on your A game. The field is a loaded deck of cards.

??? La Cross ???
from Texas to La Cross ............ I feel for ya.
I went from San Antonio to Chicago for 5 years, it really sucks.
Trying to get in a years worth of fishing in 5-6 months.
Better learn to bowl or throw darts.
Good Luck, make the best of it.

I live in Central Illinois and fish the BFL Great Lakes Division. I could have chosen to fish the Hoosier, the LBL, Illini or Ozark Divisions cause they are all about the same 4 to 5 hour drive to get to the tournament locations. I choice the Great Lakes Division cause I like to fish river systems better then lakes. Lots of fish to be caught in the La Crosse area. Seems everybody up there loves to fish the frogs and swimjigs, but I have my own thing I do up there and seems to work pretty well for me.

The Wolf River Chain is another stop on the Great Lakes circuit up there and have caught a lot of fish there but never seem to get the right ones on the day you need too.

I've fished one as a co-angler. Well run tournament. I had a great draw, cashed a small check and had fun. I may fish more in the future but it will be as a boater.

I fished as a Boater for many years in the BFL, this year was forced to switch to a co angler just to fish. Have enjoyed both sides of the BFL in Texas. Think I will be switching back to a boater for next year.
