 A beautiful day on the water fishin with grandson in from aggieland.The bite was on with nearly all being good solid fish,somewhere around 25 total with best 5 weighing 22#.seemed whatever you got in front of them they bit(fluke,baby bushhog,worm or jig.All came out of reeds.

Man I almost took the kids out there this evening and then we bailed. Going out in the morning though, hopefully they're still biting!

I always enjoy fishing Alvarado...just hate that one long boat ramp, especially the entrance

I always enjoy fishing Alvarado...just hate that one long boat ramp, especially the entrance And half the people that use it don't seem to know how to.....

if they would cut off about the first 20 feet of the guardrails along the ramp it would really help.
