I'm thinking about getting a reel, a citica, but was wondering if I should spend the extra money and get a curado? Whats better about each one?

Citica and curado are same reels exactly minus bearing out IMO option curado is not worth extra money I have both. Tatula is good but I have torn up 4 of them just are not durable like my shimanos.

If you plan to upgrade... I'd just buy the curado. The citca isn't a bad reel but I realized I always spend money screwing with stuff when I don't buy what I want in the first place.

I was looking at the tatulas also but are they pretty big, I don't have the biggest hands!

The citca is a very nice real. You're going to be happy with either choice.

I have a Citica, not the best flipping reel IMO, but I can throw a crank bait into the next lake!

I have a bunch of both. For the money, citica hands down. I only have 4 née Curados, all the rest are the old green ones and one red one.

If you are just starting out, and money is a little tight, you will be fine with a Citica. You certainly don't need a Core.
