What weight do you use casting them? 7 or 8 OK?

Turf Dawg, these flies would do well on a 6, 7, or 8 weight rod.

Look great I'll be sure to post some pics of the bass I'm targeting with them. I'm not looking for runts haha. I have not been able to get over the ten pound mark on the fly yet. Pretty sure had one on the would be close. Pb on the fly 8lb 14 oz and that was on dang 4wt fishing crappie. I'm on a year drought without a dd bass i'm looking to hopefully site cast to one on the bed with those little critters there !
