Hi Forum friends, Need some work done to a 1997 Champion with a 225 Mariner on it. Steering cable replace, livewell drain cable and/or switch replaced, need new carpet all the way around, a few minor odds and ends, and need it buffed out. I'm in Carrollton. Might consider power steering add on if the price is reasonable. Any help? And the trailer has always had some "lag" at the hitch I call it. I've tried to fix it myself a couple of times. When you take off or stop it compresses back and forth inside the hitch and clangs. Not a problem except it's highly annoying. Anyone ever had this happen?

You might try Classic Fiberglass in Denton. They do more than just fiberglass. I have the same hitch glitch and don't worry about it. I stopped it for a while by banging a metal wedge in there but it eventually fell out.

I had a buddy in our club whose boat just had it's carpet done and body buffed out at Classic Fiberglass. That 20 year old Ranger boat looked brand new. I was totally impressed with the job they did on his boat.

Gone catching does those things and does a great job for very reasonable prices. His thread is up in the classifieds. The guy is very good and very punctual and always keeps you updated and informed about your boat.

Call Chris at classic fiberglass he can get that all fixed for you and it will be done right the first time.
