I am probably heading down to Coleto Creek Sunday and wanted to see if anyone has fished it lately. I haven't been there in about a month and the bite was slow last time I was there. Thank you in advance!

I was there last Friday. caught about 6 small ones and caught one 5 pounder. This was all on a strike king swim in the mainlake coves..

Good luck out there! I caught my 12.3 out there last year at this time and its been killing me that I haven't been able to hit the lake this year.

Good luck out there! I caught my 12.3 out there last year at this time and its been killing me that I haven't been able to hit the lake this year. I stopped there on the way to falcon and fished a half day the day before you caught that fish. First and only time ever been there. Thats a cool diverse lake

When I went the week before last we were catching them in the shallow reeds and weeds next to deeper water. Caught some nice fish and lost a monster when she wrapped around the TM. We were using plastics and light weights.

Give the swim jig a try for sure!!! First cast with a SK swivel swim jig put a 2 pounder in the boat. Good call!
