They are flooded, gotta know where to get in. My sweet spots are not as accessible by foot as they used to be.

I'll stay away from the lewisville creeks until the lake gets back to pool. Hubbard creeks will be on by the end of the month.

In that second pic is that the dam that was partially removed on Rowlett ? Look like if the water goes down it could cause problems.

The bluish-greenish one is alright too!

Really, my favorite that Blue Fox makes is this one:

They are just so expensive to lose in a creek.

Lewisville's only 1.4 ft high right now, those creeks aren't going to get much lower. Have to get used to "normal" again. smile

We're planning on targeting crappie by kayak on Saturday in the difficult to get to spots. Unless we have a disaster, we'll be clean and dry!

I might see you out there HeavyLead. I think me and a buddy are gonna try that as well if we find a good put in.

Heading out to RC right now. Kayaking up the mouth. The pressure is high with blue bird sky, but like KVD says, when you have the time off work, you fish with whatever nature brings you.

If you know of an old Dagger Bayou 2 tandem kayak I am interested.

Me and a friend were out at the mouth of Rowlett yesterday then ran into it almost to the Miller bridge. Water is quite high from last year but we could see an occasional sandie heading up late in the afternoon.

We used minnows and all I got was one 5 pound hybrid on my ultra-lite. Fun fight. My friend got a bass and a catfish fishing minnows on the bottom of a deep pool. That was it for the day, but it was nice to get out there.
