IMHO, I think we should get quotes and currently available dates from both DSH and FW. Right now we seem pretty equally divided between the two and that information would probably go a long way toward choosing a charter.

Best price wins! If they want our business they will have to earn it.

I'll agree with all of that Brian. Present it to them and see what happens.

Brian .... if I said that I misspoke. They told me she would not be back "for a while"

I guess that could present a problem with DSH.

Sign me up; Caster is back. I was on Tres Tuna back in '05 before I left TX. Uncle Sam finally wised up and brought me back. Had been gone so long I had to reset my handle.

Just want to make sure Pastor Robert Willis is included in the 24 fishermen.

If not, he needs to be one of the first ones on the waiting list.

Mr. Brown .... does the fact that (on deep drop and tuna trips) we've had consistently subpar catches with FW not affect your thinking?

Of course the amenities are nice. But I am really mystified that I seem to be a loner here wanting to improve our catch totals regardless of amenities.

The fishermen in my group was very disappointed in the deep drop trip, maybe the expectation was too high. Several other boats caught fish and a lot of them that same weekend.

Maybe the Captain movement aboard the Scat Cat has improved the fish catching experience, hopefully the next trip will be better.

One thing for sure, our group is not the run of the mill charter.
