Was wanting to do some white bass fishing pretty soon. Was thinking of hitting this place up since it's fairly close and accessible by truck. What would be a good time to go? Been a long time since I've fished for whites.

You might be able to catch stragglers in march. Run will be full swing mid feb if we get a week of sun. Early-mid feb will be peak run. Be careful. Flooding has made that area pretty hazardous. If you are looking for info on the area you wont find any online. Locals are pretty tight lipped. Drive by it and check. If you see 15 cars then its safe to say spawn is on. 75% of the time march is too late at the steps. But thats just my .02
