It was a cool, windy day kayak fishing on the Brazos below Possum Kingdom. Caught a few stripers and a few Largemouths. Dressed warm and stayed dry. Even with the wind it turned out to be a delightful kayak trip. Only one other kayaker and a couple of fly fishermen on the river with us.

Hey cowtown how the heck did y'all not hook into a smallmouth. Y'all had a great trip but man I've been catching a bunch of those suckers over there every trip. Not to many of size but glad to see the restocking paying off. It's really Nice to have such a gorgeous place to fish so close to the metroplex.

Robert wish we had run into those smallmouths. You are right it is a nice place to kayak, fish and spend time on the river. Great place to refuel and enjoy nature at it's best!
What have be be catching the smallmouths on?

Pink and white,and chartreuse and white clousers fly fishing. 2flyfish4 caught a real nice one 3.5 pounds or so on a Mylar popper last trip he was over there.
