Went fishing on friday with Andrew McClusky, on here he is known as Phoenix88. He guides part time on Rayburn, and boy does he do it well! It was very very windy that day with up to 4 foot waves towards the middle of the lake. All in all, probably my best fishing trip ever, I got to use all his expensive rods and reels, I got to work the trolling motor, used baits I've never used before, and the whole way through he was giving me pointers like "cast right up in there" "if they arent biting that moving, slow it down a little bit and rip it through the hydrilla." Taught me how to walk a frog, and a lot of other basics that i didnt even know i was missing. Very nice guy, I couldnt have asked for a better way to spend my 18th birthday. Even if we didnt catch any monsters, we caught 17 throughout the boat on a day that the conditions looked like we werent going to catch any.
Go book a trip with this guy, you'll be glad you did!

I was on this trip and it was awesome. The wind had the lake looking like the ocean so Andrew had to go to plan c for the day. If plan c was this good I wonder what PLAN A would be like!! Lol

Andrew is one of the nicest people I have ever met and I look forward to fishing with him again. I have already adapted a couple things Andrew taught us into my fishing and I'm sure it will help my hook up ratio. Highly recommend this young man, get a trip while you can because he is going to book up quickly this next spring.
