2004 carbed on a skeeter. I've been running it to 6,000. Too many?

I wouldn`t want to run that much rpm`s. First make sure your tach is right. You might get a little more cup put in to lower the rpm`s or go to one higher pitch.

carb'd yamaha's max rpms should be 5600 to 5800

that's good to know, I will hit 6000 on mine every now and then, but regulate my WOT rpms by playing with the trim and jackplate. how many hours on yours?

how do you verrify tach accuracy??
