North/northeast winds had me looking for a little shelter on the north side of Caney Creek in the three coves near the main lake. Managed five bass in the 1-1.5lb range and lost two. Most of them caught on watermelon Wooley Bug t-rigged in about 1-2.5ft. of water. Mostly casting to the grass and working back to about 15ft. from shore. Middle cove had the most action. Nothing spectacular, but better than nothing.
