If you could only use 3 lures for the rest of your life...3 lures to have in your tackle box....which 3 lures would you have for these species?
Be specific with name, weight, colors, size, etc.
God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Genesis 1:28

Of course, you could find this out by reading through the past articles on TFF. But, I'll give you a quick head start from what I've read and seen for Cedar Creek Lake guys:
Fastguy: Definitely a Sassy Shad on a jig head
SandJohnny (Eagle Mountain Lake): Definitely an Old Ugly slab
Billy Seaman (guide): definitely a Hell/Pet trolling rig and various slabs
Doyle Hollman: Various slabs
BigCrappie.com (guide): Hell/Pet for trolling and various slabs
SnagginSteve: Sassy Shad with jig head and slabs
Yours Truly: Definitely a Mepps Aglia plain silver spinner #4 and #2
If I mis-spoke for any of you, please correct me.

#9 Rapala shad rap, shad color on clear days orangish on cloudy days, Blue glass huskey deep diving Rapala on Texoma, runs about 14' deep and DD 22 shinny chartreuse, with white and orange on it. All have worked on Ben Brook, Texoma, RC, Whitney, and PK. Best bait is live shad. Just my opinion.

I have been guiding since 2008 and have only used 2 lures for whites/hybrids/stripers 99% of the time. On or near the surface I use a 5/8 ounce lipless crankbait in a chrome body. The other is a 2 ounce 180 shad-shaped design produced by Bryon Nolan. I use two main color patterns: either Chartreuse/White or holographic silver. THese two baits always produce fish, when many other fisherman aren't getting bit.

I come from the whatever Dennis Christian says is correct so.... Mepps #2 Mepps #3 Mepps #4 And my friend has been using a Mepps #5 at times and having pretty good luck. It looks and sounds like he's casting his keys out in the water. He calls it the Apache in reference to the AH-64 helicopter.

Was thinking about this exact topic the other day..
1. Mepps #4 chartreuse or silver plain spinner 2. 1 1/2oz. Chartreuse or silver slab 3. 3/8oz. Rattlin' Rapala or Rat-L-Trap with chrome body, for when they're on top or close to it 4. Heddon Tiny Torpedo clear body. Just cause it's fun to watch em explode on it.

1. Mepps #4 plain 2. Baby torpedo in chrome 3. 3/8 oz. Castmaster spoon
Put 2 of each of these lures in a plastic tackle box with some snaps and you can fish any sand bass/hybrid lake in the state with good success.

If you bought all of the suggestions, then you will have to buy a bigger tackle box. Lots of things work on different days. Lures are generally sold to catch fisherman not necessarily to catch fish. Good luck and be sure to release some for seed.

Dad
More important is size and presentation. Are the fish on bottom? I would use slab. Have to then figure out size. Personally I think color is overrated. Hot water like now? Fish may be suspended and you need a horizontal presentation. Again figure out size of bait and match.
