Rented a house down there for a few days next week but have never fished the lake. Any info on where to put my kids(10 and 7) on some whites and/or hybrids would be appreciated.
Thanks.

When I went in June the best luck we had for whites was the island just NW from the landing at 7 coves. Also south of that along the shore in 10-25fw look for humps and ridges. We caught quite a few in that immediate area including a 8 or so pound hybrid. I would also suggest you check out the LBM bait shop (you'll have to google it) they have an old map of the lake with a ton of spots marked including all of the docks with lights for night if you want to try and get out of the heat. Hope that helps! Good luck! I had a blast down there
