I drove over the bay a couple times last week, it's pretty gunked up. Water has gotten good down the road at POC, Seadrift part of SA bay is still pretty muddy.

Did it look bad around the north end near Point Comfort? Thats where I was looking to try and get a kayak back towards the Lavaca River and the little spoils towards thata way.

I don't think the upper end of any bay is good right now, still a lot of mud coming through. It'll be good for long term, but I'd be fishing closer to the gulf.

I agree with pat, went back that way last weekend just to take a peek and left quickly. Water looks like chocolate milk and tastes like spring water.
