I need to know how to turn two 12v batteries into one 24v system where they run together. Right now I have one battery running my trolling motor which is a 24v motorguide and one battery running my accesories. I have one positive and one negative cable running to EACH battery right now. Please help quick.

Take the pos. wire from your motor to a pos. battery post. Take the neg. from the motor to the second battery's neg. post. Then make a jumper wire to run from the first battery's neg. post to the second battery's pos. post. That will give you motor the 24 volts it needs.

They didn't teach you that in MTI tech school, or in BIC? Come on, you're going to have to give up your blue rope for not knowing how to do that!
