My wife broke her own water body record last night. Her previous record was 72 inches from 2012. It Only took her 3 years. This gar was 83 inches long and was released unharmed

Nice fish! Good job.  Side Note: State Record Catch&Release Alligator Gar is 88". She was only five shy!  You might want to check out the local water body catch&release record for the water body where she caught the fish.  Again super fish.

Well done by the Mrs. and well done by you sir. I can't even find a woman who will fish period much less set records!Ever since facebook and social media I have no chance at all. Texas fishing women are close to extinct
