Took the kayak out on lake Bastrop Wednesday for a few hours, very quiet in the morning and then around lunchtime I got 5 fish on the popper (well a new popper I designed called a Frogolope) The best bass was a personal best it measured just under 26 inches and put up a tremendous fight on the 6 weight I will post a step by step of the Frogolope in a couple of days in Fly Tying Mike

You know it's funny I sent my buddy that picture I posted who lives in Bastrop. He sent me back he has been killing them on frogs down there but he cannot get anything over 4 pounds LOL. Needs a frogalope haha great fish.
