I'm posting this separate of the community lakes thread in hopes it is read sooner rather than later.

Lived in Denton most of my life. I'm aware of many of it's ponds, small lakes or creek access.

Here's my question, I tried to install Google Earth, however, having install issues. I was trying to locate the small body of water which is called Lake Sharon. I think I know of it's location I'm simply not familiar with it by that name.

There is an HOA pond across from Wheeler Ridge Estates - in the HOA across the road on Teasley as it heads towards Old Alton. Is that what is referred to as Lake Sharon?

You're welcome to PM me if preferred.

With the area lakes high and ramp access or parking limited, I'd like to take my boater friend out so he can acquire a fishing fix before going stir crazy. We were thinking of heading up to Moss lake NW of Gainesville but I don't know if that would be a fruitful trip to make with everyone trying to trailer around the metroplex to arrange their own fishing fix due to the high water - lake closures.

Word is they will let you walk and fish but no boats or tubes.
