Anyone have any tried and true, fix ahead type finger foods that would work well for a graduation reception. What would you enjoy eating?

Lil Smokies always works pretty good (I like mine wrapped in crescent rolls & baked, or just do them in sauce). 7 layer Mexican casserole works also. Chicken wings (grill your own or buy some already cooked). Atomic buffalo turds - they looked good!!

Thank you. It's always nice to hear what others like (and not just what I find easy to make).

You can also google "recipes, finger food" and I'm sure something will pop up.

Little smokies are good several ways. Like mentioned above for sausage rolls, or 5 packages in a crock pot with a bottle of Heinz 57 and a jar of honey. Now everyone uses BBQ sauce instead.
My go to finger foods:
Easy - Pigs in a blanket (sausage rolls) Sausage balls Tortilla roll-ups
Special occasions - Deviled eggs Cheese Ball Jalapeno Poppers Fruit K-bobs

Boring but always a hit - veggie tray with dip, fruit tray with sweet dip -------------------------------------------------------------------------- easy and always a hit - meat balls in marinara sauce (heated in crock pot) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- cheese, crackers and dried meat tray (jerky, sausage, pepperoni, ect.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- home made queso and chips is always popular (add browned ground meat and or Jimmy Dean style sausage) --------------------------------------------------------------------------
here is a killer cheese ball recipe...
Bacon-Jalapeo Cheese Ball 6 slices bacon cup chopped pecans 8 oz cream cheese, room temp cup shredded cheddar cheese 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped 1 clove garlic, minced tsp ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1 tsp lime juice 2 tbsp cilantro tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 jalapeos (ribs and seeds removed), finely chopped Crackers (for serving) Preheat oven to 350 F. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant.
Cook the bacon in a large skillet set over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Allow to cool slightly, then crumble and divide in half.
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, garlic, cumin, cayenne, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, half of the minced jalapeos, and half of the crumbled bacon until well combined. Season the mixture to taste with salt.
On a large plate, stir the toasted pecans, remaining minced jalapeos, cilantro and bacon together. Moisten your hands slightly and shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball Roll. Then the ball in the pecan mixture until well coated. Cover the ball with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
