I need advice or suggestions on locating a decent used motor. I am trying to repower a 20' 93 Stratos. I need something 150-200hp and ideally around 2004 or newer. I have been watching craigslist for a while and am hesitant to buy something this expensive on ebay. I am mechanically inclined and can install it myself if necessary. I'm in Austin but willing to travel a few hours. Thank you for any input you can offer.

Get the biggest motor you can afford. If it was me I'd look into a 200hp optimax. It's easy to reduce throttle and go slow but difficult to add horsepower if ya need it. No way I'd run a 150 on a 20' boat....
But that's just me...
